The best way to help your English is to live with a friendly and sympathetic English family. Bath Studio will carefully select your host family so that you get lots of exposure to English conversation, and encouragement to join in. Our families know how difficult it can be for you to understand English and to start speaking. Bath Studio will always try and place you with a family that shares your interests.

If you prefer it, you can come with your partner and take lessons whilst he or she enjoys Bath - but expect to speak English when you are with your hosts.

Bath Studio families all live within easy reach of the centre of town - either by foot or a short bus journey.

Homestay
Our most popular option

We arrange your accommodation with your tutor or with a local family - well appointed single room (double for couples), breakfast, evening and weekend meals. Weekday light lunches are also available at the school at a small extra charge.

Homestay B & B
Good if you are coming with a friend

We arrange your accommodation with your tutor or with a local family - well appointed single room (double for couples) + breakfast. You arrange, and pay for, other meals with your host family direct to suit what you decide to do when you are here.

Total Immersion
Good if you want some of your recreation arranged

We arrange whatever accommodation, meals and recreation that you request, and is agreed, on your own custom-designed programme.

There is lots to do and see in and around Bath. Bath Studio can book tickets for you, take you on trips and accompany you to events - just tell us what you would like to do, and we will prepare a proposal for your consideration.
